Approaching Christmas 2020

How is everyone doing? It certainly has been quite a year.

Retiredandonthemove takes on a whole different meaning when you can’t really move around.

Hubby and I continued weeks of home and cabin life as mentioned in the last post, with one side trip. We spent a couple of days visiting Saratoga Springs. The Saratoga Automobile Museum had the private collection of Dyson Racing on display. We really enjoy private collections, especially if there are docents who have personal knowledge of the collection. The museum is on the grounds of Saratoga Spa State Park with a number of mineral springs scattered around the park. We spent a lovely afternoon wandering around the park and then stayed at an historical, 19th century hotel on the state park grounds, the Gideon Putnam. It was a nice little break.

In the next month we will be headed to Vermont for the birth of our second grandchild, a girl. Then around the end of the year we will head south to the beaches of Georgia.

Have an absolutely wonderful merry Christmas and cross your fingers for 2021.

Note: As I was preparing to add a photo or two to this blog, I discovered a final gift of 2020. The photos on my memory card for the last year have vanished!
